Groundwater travels through different layers of soil, in ways and at velocities that depend on the permeability of the soil layers.
Modelling these flows is crucial, both from a ground-mechanics and ecological standpoint. This is especially the case when humans influence these systems e.g. underground structures, groundwater pumping, contamination.
On the basis of this survey we can identify how groundwater flows and predict theoretical forecasts; for example about how over time the spread of pollution could have a negative impact on both humans and the environment. Studies concerning settlement risk in regards to the lowering of groundwater levels are also part of our activities.
The first phase consists of working with you in deciding which information is necessary in regards to your needs and how we can offer the best results in a cost effective manner. We’ll then determine which approach would offer the best results in your particular case.
On the basis of a more detailed site investigation, we can refine the chosen approach. We can then implement the selected strategy.
After completing our work, we thoroughly evaluate the results. If necessary we will then perform additional research to either confirm or disprove the results.
